The Seattle Psychoanalytic Society and Institute was founded in 1948. SPSI trains mental health clinicians to provide psychoanalytic treatment and trains researchers in the application of psychoanalytic theory to various social settings.
SPSI, with the help of its Diversity Committee, invites its Faculty, Clinical Associates, and Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy students to a Town Hall meeting.
In this meeting, we will continue the conversation regarding racism and how SPSI has and will respond. One of our intentions for the meeting is to strengthen our ability to talk openly and listen carefully when sharing our hopes, fears, and pain regarding racism.
