I am a Licensed Psychologist and have been in private practice since 2013. I have specialized training in contemporary psychoanalytic psychotherapy, relationally and interpersonally focused psychodynamic approaches, mindfulness and acceptance, working with young to middle-aged adults, and people struggling with eating disorders, compulsions, and addictions. I have trained in several college counseling settings and at the William Alanson White Institute in NYC, as well as conducted extensive psychological assessments on an inpatient psychiatric unit and previously worked as a staff therapist in Chicago's public housing.

I am an engaged, insight-oriented therapist, working with individuals in-depth and providing supervision/consultation to other therapists/colleagues seeking to do deeper work. My therapeutic approach is primarily rooted in contemporary relational psychoanalysis with the integration of attachment theory and developmental lenses. I am particularly interested in complex trauma and deeply admire the resilience of those who have found ways to survive childhood abuse and neglect. I aim to work with a diverse patient population and welcome all who have ever felt marginalized, oppressed, or a lack of belonging in any community, past or present. I was previously a psychoanalytic candidate at NYU's Postdoc Program before relocating to the Pacific Northwest, and I am excited about completing my training here at SPSI. I am licensed in the states of Oregon, Washington, and New York. I offer in person treatment at my Portland office with the option for virtual meetings when logistically or clinically warranted.
