The Seattle Psychoanalytic Society and Institute (SPSI), founded in 1948, trains mental health clinicians to provide psychoanalytic treatment, and trains researchers in the application of psychoanalytic theory to various social settings. SPSI serves individuals and organizations in the community through educational outreach, consultation, research, and reduced fee psychoanalytic treatment. SPSI is an approved training institute of the American Psychoanalytic Association.
