As the summer winds down, the days begin to shorten, and there’s a faint nip of fall in the air, we at SPSI are preparing to welcome a new cohort for APT and 2YCP. We are delighted by the growth of our community and the rich opportunities for learning together. As we launch this academic year, I want to express my appreciation for Chris Keats, Past Director, and Rock Hushka, Board President, for ensuring a smooth transition of leadership for Martin Bullard, John De Mott, and me. We have had a busy summer.
The beginning of the academic year also finds us in a new “home” and brings the rollout of our new curriculum, a speaker’s series “Frontiers of Psychoanalysis,” website and governance updates, renewed energy for community collaboration, and commitment to curiosity and openness to the breadth and depth of human experience. Our tent has grown, there is room for all!
