[28 pages]

[26 pages]

In this session we examinethe unique circumstance of the adolescent leaving home for college and the anxiety and fear that may re-emerge as a result of earlier unresolved separation-individuation issues. Then we focus on the intergenerational transmission of standards, cultural values, and ideals in immigrant families.
