Learning Objectives

At the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  1. articulate major tenets in the history of development as it relates to psychoanalysis
  2. conceptualize and articulate how modern neuroscience advances have shaped the understanding of personality and the subsequent implication for psychoanalytic work with patients
  3. locate and reflect upon their countertransference as it pertains to their own development.
