Are you looking to optimize your mental health with the guidance of an expert? Do you have questions about your diagnosis, treatment options, or available resources? Perhaps you're at a crossroads in life, trying to navigate the intersection of pregnancy and mental health treatment, and you're unsure about the safety and effectiveness of medications for both you and your baby. Well, you've come to the right place!
I am Wyoming born and raised, and my private practice is primarily focused on these communities now. I take great pride in establishing Wyoming's first Reproductive & Perinatal Psychiatry Clinic. My journey in psychiatry began in Jackson, Wyoming, where my passion for this field blossomed. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Honors Psychology and Global Health from Northwestern University before pursuing my MD at the University of Washington School of Medicine through the Wyoming WWAMI program. Along the way, I pursued additional certifications in Integrated Child and Adult Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy through the SPSI, as well as Perinatal and Reproductive Psychiatry.
After completing my training in Seattle, I embarked on a mission to bring specialized care to communities across my home state of Wyoming and the Rocky Mountain region. By establishing Wyoming's first Reproductive & Perinatal Psychiatry Clinic, my dedication is to ensure that expecting and new parents receive the specialized care they deserve during this critical phase of their lives. As a board-certified psychiatrist and certified perinatal and reproductive mental health physician, my ultimate goal is to provide consultation services that leave you feeling well-informed, supported, and empowered to make informed choices about your health and the well-being of your baby.
In my practice, I utilize psychodynamic psychotherapy, focusing on helping you develop a narrative that recognizes, accepts, and integrates conscious and unconscious patterns. Within a safe, empathetic, and supportive space, I strive to foster relational and empathic immersion during our therapy sessions. Together, we will work towards achieving a personal shift, aligning your life with your dreams, values, and authentic sense of self.
My practice is 100% virtual through a HIPAA-compliant platform. I am licensed to practice in WA, WY, ID, and MT.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. I look forward to joining you on your journey towards improved mental health and well-being.
